Testosterone Cypionate: How and Why Use It in Bodybuilding
Testosterone cypionate (cyclopentyl propionate) is another separate (mono) testosterone ester that is actively used in weight training. Unlike enanthate and propionate, cypionate does not have a classic half-life. It is in the range of four to eight days. Therefore, not everyone can choose the optimal scheme to use this ether. But we’ll talk about that later. Like any other injectable version of testosterone, the cypionate ester has all the beneficial properties of this hormone:

If you study the ether chain of this ester carefully, it becomes clear that it most closely resembles the ether chain of phenylpropionate. Certain differences are certainly present, but no dramatic difference has been observed. Therefore, cypionate can be called something between enanthate and propionate for a reason.
Maximum testosterone concentration after cypionate injection is observed after 48 hours. And it can stay at this level for four to eight days. This half-life uncertainty is the biggest problem with cypionate.
Since it is a monoether, it works smoothly and stably. In the same way, the level drops steadily after the activity is completed. Here it is important, based on subjective sensations, to guess at the frequency of injections. It’s worth the hurry, and you will meet the dressing in all its glory. And if you arrive late, you will fall into a hormonal hole and cancel the results.
That’s why I said not everyone can be friends with this ether. But if you guess correctly, cypionate will be your favorite testosterone ester. My advice: start with testosterone by trying propionate and enanthate. And then it communicates with Cypionate Ether.
Testosterone Cypionate: Use for weight gain
Here the situation is similar to Enanthate. Cypionate will contribute to a rapid and significant increase in body weight (after all, 10 kg for a standard ten-week course). You can keep about half of this if you choose the right food.

Injections can also be done less frequently (every 10 days), but the testosterone concentration in the blood will not be constant. The peak of the concentration in the blood drops during the first 24-48 hours, after which it gradually decreases.
The dosage for beginners does not exceed 250 mg per week, for more experienced athletes it can go up to 500 mg. Many athletes claim that doses of 750 mg / week and above do not produce any significant anabolic effects while significantly increasing the risk and frequency of side effects. In this connection, we can conclude that the optimal dose is 250-500 mg per week, whose threshold should not be exceeded. The courses usually last for 6-10 months, after which PCT is mandatory.
